At He Hoʻomaka Hou Ana O Puna, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the work and leadership of our own Dr. Dayna Schultz, who will be offering this statewide HOPE Framework training series. Although this event is not affiliated with our organization, we wholeheartedly stand behind her and the healing work she brings forward for survivors across Hawaiʻi. Dr. Dayna has touched the lives of countless women in our NCVC-supported Peer-to-Peer program—guiding them with a blend of cultural grounding, clinical expertise, lived experience, and a depth of aloha that is felt more than it can ever be described. As a Native Hawaiian survivor, mother, and a fierce advocate for ending violence against women, she embodies what it means to transform pain into purpose and healing into leadership. Her HOPE Framework—Healing, Ownership, Purpose, and Empowerment—is not just a teaching, but a pathway she walks daily with the people she serves. We uplift her, we honor her, and we are grateful for the profound impact she continues to have on our island communities. To understand with your heart is ALOHA—and that is the foundation of everything she does.
